New Year is just around the corner, and with the end of the year comes the culmination of the regular season with thrilling and decisive matchups that will have you jumping with excitement in this NFL Week 17.
On Thursday night, there will be action in Ohio as the Cleveland Browns host the New York Jets at their stadium.
On Saturday, we’ll have NFL action instead of Monday due to it being the January 1st. The Dallas Cowboys will face off against the Detroit Lions.
And, of course, we couldn’t leave out the Sunday Night game. This time, the last game of 2023 will take place in Minnesota. The Minnesota Vikings, the home team, will play against the four-time Super Bowl champions, the Green Bay Packers.
There’s a lot of action in this year-end 2023, which has already delivered many emotions, giving us a glimpse of the dramatic conclusion that the NFL regular season will have in the following week.

NFL Week 17 Thursday Night Football
The last Thursday of the year will feature a significant game between the Cleveland Browns, who will host the New York Jets at the Cleveland Browns’ stadium.
Both teams have been facing off since 1970, and in 29 games, the balance favors the Ohio team, who have won 15 games compared to the Jets’ 14.
This will be the second time they play on a Thursday. The previous occasion was on September 20, 2018, when the Ohio team won 21-17.
NFL Week 16 Saturday Night Football
The last Saturday of the year will feature two teams in the sports lineup that have been facing each other since 1960: the Dallas Cowboys and the Detroit Lions.
The balance tilts in favor of the Texas team with 18 victories compared to the 12 of the Michigan team, in 30 games.
This will be the second time both teams play on a Saturday, the first in the regular season. On December 26, 1970, they played in the divisional series, a game won by the Dallas team with a score of 5-0.
NFL Week 16 Sunday Night Football
The year 2023 bids farewell in grand fashion, and what better way to do it than with FOOTBALL!
The U.S. Bank Stadium in Minnesota will be the venue for the last game of the year, which could have playoff implications.
The Minnesota Vikings will host the Green Bay Packers in a game that is expected to be exciting.
In the balance between both teams, over 125 games, not including that Week 8 match, the advantage goes to Wisconsin with 65 victories, compared to Minnesota’s 57 and 3 ties.
